Finding a Corvette to Match Your Personality

Ever since cars started coming in colors besides solid black, people have been using them to make personal statements and attract attention. The image of men and women with hot cars getting hotter guys and girls is common in American society, but there is a little something to it. All over the world, men and women both use the outward appearances of their vehicles to broadcast information about themselves to anyone who happens to be looking.

The Trustworthiness of a Good Car

For all the words you spew during a conversation, authenticity is one of the most important factors when it comes to trust. If you want someone to trust you, they need to see the real you – not just in your smile but in the way you carry yourself and in what you drive.

There might not be a direct relation, but there is certainly something more real about older Corvettes using powerful engines and tearing through both open roads and dense traffic. Unfortunately, Corvette parts for older vehicles are only becoming harder to find.

Sleek and Attractive Cars

In addition to being bigger and stronger than the cars of today, older Corvettes are also some of the most attractive vehicles running the roads. They’re sleek but still roomy enough for even taller or wider drivers and passengers.

Vehicles like these tell passersby that you don’t like being confined, that you prefer wide open spaces with plenty of room to move around. The odds are very good, though, that you will need to replace something before hitting the highways with your Corvette, unless of course you’re willing to buy new and give up the distinct, almost romantic appeal of the older muscle cars.

But then, perhaps you think those older, bulkier vehicles which literally guzzle gasoline are not only wasteful but would send the wrong message to others about what kind of person you are.

In that case, one of the newer Corvettes, which are more fuel efficient and run on smaller engines would actually be very appealing to you. They reflect a kind of careful conservative attitude, and that is exactly what some people want.

Corvette Colors

Color of Your Corvette

Beyond the model and age of the vehicle you choose, the color or color scheme for a Corvette says a lot about the owner. Research shows that vehicles painted red are more likely to be stopped and have their operators ticketed by police. Colors cause real reactions in people, from police officers to a man or woman whose attention you’re trying to snare.

For example, red is seen as bold, just as blue gives feelings of calm and black brings more somber thoughts to mind. Do you want to come across as bold? Sullen? Provocative? You can do a lot just by painting your Corvette a certain way – more than any Corvette parts could.

While outward appearances are of great value to those looking at you as you pass, even the most beautifully crafted Corvette will be useless if it’s uncomfortable or even prohibitive to drive.

While some changes can be made with Corvette parts it’s important to like what you buy when you buy it.
